Schalke 04 'not in for Danny Rose, Ruben Loftus-Cheek'

Schalke 04 are reportedly not interested in signing either Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose or Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan before the end of the month.

Rose continues to be linked with a move away from Tottenham, while it has been reported that Schalke are also interested in taking Loftus-Cheek on loan for the 2018-19 campaign.

However, according to Sky Sports News, Schalke are not interested in any loan deals this summer as they seek a new left-back with a budget of just over £6m.

Rose has seemingly been deemed too expensive by Schalke, while the German outfit are also not in the market for a central midfielder amid links with Loftus-Cheek, who was strongly linked with a return to Crystal Palace before the transfer window closed last week.

Schalke have until the end of August to sign players for the 2018-19 season.
