Klaas-Jan Huntelaar calm about new Schalke contract

Schalke striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has revealed that he is in no hurry to renew his current contract with his club.

The Netherlands international is out of contract at the Royal Blues at the end of the season.

"They haven't made an offer yet," he is quoted as saying by Spox.

"We didn't speak about money at all, only about the sporting side of things. I haven't set a deadline for myself, because I want to see how it will go with the team.

"After that we can look further. To me it's only about the sporting aspect."

Huntelaar finished as the top scorer in the Bundesliga last season with 29 goals.
