Team News: Maxi Lopez starts up front for struggling Sampdoria

Ciro Ferrara has opted to start with the lone striker formation of Maxi Lopez as his side look to move away from the bottom three at home to Atalanta.

Lopez has Eder and Estigarribia in support of Lopez, as part of a fluid five-man midfield.

Atalanta start with German Denis up top alonside Maximiliano Moralez, knowing that a win will lift them into the top half of the league.
