Team News: Mauro Icardi, Rodrigo Palacio lead Inter Milan attack

Inter Milan manager Walter Mazzarri has named forwards Mauro Icardi and Rodrigo Palacio in the starting lineup for this afternoon's Serie A match against Sampdoria.

The Argentine pair will lead the attack, with support coming from Brazilian playmaker Hernanes.

Mateo Kovacic has been handed a rare start in the centre of midfield and Walter Samuel comes into the defence to replace the injured Juan Jesus.

Sampdoria have recalled Gianluca Sansone to their starting XI, with Manolo Gabbiadini ruled out through injury.

The forward will join Maxi Lopez and Eder in a front three, while there are also starts for Pedro Obiang and Daniele Gastaldello.
