Wolfsburg clinch Women's Champions League

Wolfsburg have caused an upset in the final of the Women's Champions League with a 1-0 victory over holders Lyon at Stamford Bridge.

The game was decided in the 73rd minute when Martina Muller fired in from the penalty spot following Laura Georges's handball.

The result saw Lyon beaten for the first time in 118 competitive matches.

Wolfsburg, who are the seventh team to win the competition, have now won the treble this season after successes in the league and German Cup.
