Ghana 1-1 Guinea

Guinea have earned a 1-1 draw with Ghana, which is not enough to see them through to the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Mali's 2-1 win against Botswana means that Michel Dussuyer's team are out of the tournament.

Ghana, who had already booked their place in the next round, took the lead on 28 minutes when Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu fired in an unstoppable volley from the edge of the area.

Guinea striker Ismael Bangoura had two chances to get on the scoresheet before the break, but the striker was wayward with both attempts.

Guinea did find an equaliser before half time in unusual circumstances as Abdoul Razzagui Camara's cross flew into the far corner.

Bangoura could have found the net 10 minutes after the break, but his shot was smothered by Adam Kwarasey in the Ghana goal.

Mamadou Bah was given his marching orders with 20 minutes to go when he picked up his second yellow card of the match.
