Perth Glory picked up a point in their first game since the sacking of Alastair Edwards by holding Adelaide United to a 0-0 stalemate at the Nib Stadium on Sunday.
Edwards was surprisingly axed after the defeat to Melbourne Victory last week, and caretaker manager Kenny Lowe could not have an immediate impact in a stale affair.
Glory did not have a shot on target until the 80th minute, but made a late effort to try to snatch maximum points after being on the back foot for much of the contest.
The Reds had the majority of the possession in the opening hour, but as so often this season, could not convert their time on the ball into periods of sustained pressure on the opposition goal, as they managed just four shots on target throughout.
The result keeps Perth seventh in the A-League table, three points above Adelaide.
