Palermo to sack Gian Piero Gasperini?

Gian Piero Gasperini could be sacked by Palermo, according to latest reports in Italy.

Palermo have dropped to joint-bottom in Serie A following their 2-1 defeat to Atalanta this afternoon.

The loss means that Gasperini has led the side to just three victories since taking over in mid-September, which has led to rumours suggesting that the 55-year-old will be sacked.

Pasquale Marino and Edy Reja are thought to be options should Gasperini be sacked by Palermo.
