Steve Tilson sacked by Lincoln City

Lincoln City have confirmed that they have terminated the contract of manager Steve Tilson and his assistant Paul Brush.

The club's youth coach Grant Brown will take over first team duties until a replacement is appointed.

The Imps have so far opted against expanding on their reasoning to dismiss the 45-year-old.

Tilson, who took over Lincoln in October 2010, leaves the club 19th in the Conference table.
