Besiktas have reportedly offered Alex McLeish a route back into management.
The Scot was sacked by Aston Villa after only one season in charge at Villa Park.
According to The Mirror, the 53-year-old is in no rush to sort his future out, but the Turkish club are believed to be keen on appointing a foreign manager.
Previous boss Tayfur Havutcu has been released by the club after being arrested in connection with match-fixing allegations.
