Haris Vuckic to join Cardiff on loan

Newcastle United midfielder Haris Vuckic has agreed to join Championship side Cardiff City on an initial one-month loan.

Vuckic has struggled to break into the first team at Newcastle this season and Cardiff have made a move for him.

Alan Pardew's side confirmed that the Slovenian will complete the move on Friday and the player is expected to be in the squad for Saturday's clash with Leicester City.

The 19-year-old has made only five senior appearances for the Magpies since joining the club in 2009, all of them this season.

Newcastle are currently fifth in the Premier League.
