Daryl Janmaat fit again for Newcastle United against Aston Villa

Rafael Benitez confirms that Daryl Janmaat is back after a month out to play for Newcastle United against Aston Villa on Saturday.

Newcastle United full-back Daryl Janmaat has been passed fit to return for the Magpies this weekend at Aston Villa.

The Dutchman has been out for a month with a broken hand and missed Newcastle's last four matches, in which they have managed eight points out of a possible 12 to climb out of the relegation zone.

Head coach Rafael Benitez told reporters ahead of Saturday's trip to rockbottom Villa that both Janmaat and Vurnon Anita are fit, but Fabricio Coloccini is missing.

Benitez urged his players not to be complacent against a Villa side who have lost 11 straight matches.

"We have an important message for the players this week - no complacency and concentrate. We have to be focused," the Spaniard said.

"I do not see an easy game. I see a difficult game. They need a win because of the fans, the club and the history."

Newcastle are a point clear of North-East rivals Sunderland and two above Norwich City below them, but both the Black Cats and Canaries do have games in hand on Rafael Benitez's men.
