Montrose bounce back to beat Berwick Rangers

Montrose came back to beat Berwick Rangers 2-1 at Links Park this evening thanks to Paul Waton's late winner.

Montrose's Leighton McIntosh tested Michael Andrews in the Berwick goal early on, before Gary Wood headed narrowly over the bar.

The away side then took the lead through Andy Russell's curling 20-yard effort after 30 minutes.

Paul Willis spurned a good chance to put his side two ahead, and Montrose levelled on the stroke of half time when Bryan Deasley applied the finish to Ross McCord's corner.

Montrose then completed their comeback when Paul Watson fired home from Deasley's cross on 77 minutes.
