Manchester United may have to lower Nani valuation to encourage bids

United told to lower Nani price

Manchester United have been told to lower their £11m asking price for Nani if they want to offload the winger this summer, reports suggest.

AC Milan are the latest side to express an interest in signing the 27-year-old but, according to the Sunday Express, the Italians do not agree with United's valuation of the player.

Juventus were also reportedly interested in Nani, though that was before new boss Massimiliano Allegri replaced Antonio Conte at the helm.

Milan are now believed to be in the driving seat and are prepared to wait until the end of the transfer window to see if United's stance on the player changes.

Nani flew out to the United States for Manchester United's pre-season tour, but Louis Van Gaal is expected to declare the player surplus to requirements at Old Trafford as the Dutchman looks to reshape his squad.
