Manchester United's Ryan Tunnicliffe joins Barnsley on loan

Manchester United midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe has signed a loan deal with Barnsley until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old, who has featured regularly for United's development side this year, will act as a replacement for Scott Golbourne, who has been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign with a knee injury.

A report has claimed that Tunnicliffe could now make his debut during Saturday's match against Bristol City.

The Manchester-born player has made two appearances for United this season.
