Tottenham set Harry Kane asking price at £150m?

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly hoping to fend off any potential interest in striker Harry Kane as they have placed an enormous £150m price tag on their star man.

The 27-year-old talisman has been at Spurs since the age of 11 but is yet to win a major trophy with the club and may consider leaving Jose Mourinho's side in the near future.

According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is confident he can keep hold of Kane and would demand a huge nine-figure fee before he even considers the sale of his star striker.

Manchester City and Manchester United have previously been linked with the England international and are both understood to be in the market for a new number nine this summer.

Any potential sale of Kane for such a fee would make him the third most expensive footballer of all time behind Paris Saint-Germain duo Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

Kane, who is contracted to Spurs until 2024 on a deal worth around £200,000 a week, has scored over 200 Premier League goals for the club since his debut in 2012, including 13 strikes this campaign.
