Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba reportedly regrets not making a bigger effort to force a transfer away from Old Trafford this summer.

Midfielder Paul Pogba reportedly has regrets over not forcing a move away from Manchester United this summer.

After three years at Old Trafford, Pogba announced at the end of last season that he was looking to take on a new challenge.

Despite that revelation resulting in persistent speculation regarding a potential transfer to either Real Madrid or Juventus, it is now highly likely that the 26-year-old will spend the current campaign at United.

According to AS, the World Cup winner now wishes that he had made a stronger push to depart the Premier League giants over recent months.

While Pogba effectively has just under three years left on his contract and continues to hold down a first-team position, there remains a suggestion that he sees his long-term future elsewhere.
