Midfielder Paul Pogba acknowledges that he is open to leaving Manchester United during the summer transfer window.

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has revealed that he feels ready to take on a new challenge this summer.

Pogba has just come to the end of his third campaign at Old Trafford, contributing 15 goals and 10 assists from his 44 appearances in all competitions.

However, despite United allegedly insisting that the France international is not for sale, speculation has persisted regarding a potential switch to Real Madrid or former club Juventus.

Pogba has now acknowledged that he is open to leaving Old Trafford, claiming that it 'could be a good time' to join a different club.

The 26-year-old told reporters in Tokyo: "Like you said, there is a lot of talking and a lot of thinking as well. For me I have been for three years in Manchester and have been doing great; some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody. Like everywhere else.

"After this season and everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well, I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else. I am thinking of this: to have a new challenge somewhere else."

Pogba still has two years remaining on his contract, leaving United to now decide whether they wish to cash in on the club-record signing.
