Manchester United striker Ashley Fletcher joins Barnsley

Barnsley have secured the loan services of Manchester United's young striker Ashley Fletcher.

The 20-year-old, who is yet to feature for United at senior level, has signed a deal at Oakwell that runs until February 6.

"I'm buzzing to be here. I've come to get some league experience and help improve the team," he told the club's official website.

"Having trained with the lads this morning, I can see the quality that they bring to the club."

Fletcher is expected to go straight into the squad to face Fleetwood Town on Saturday.
