Manchester United are not planning to make any new signings during the January transfer window, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly not expected to make any new signings during the January transfer window.

The Red Devils are facing a battle to finish in the top four in the Premier League this season, with Monday's 1-0 home loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers leaving them seventh in the table, four points behind fourth-placed Arsenal.

A recent report claimed that interim head coach Ralf Rangnick will be backed with funds in the current market, and Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves has been linked with a move to the club.

However, according to talkSPORT, the 20-time English champions are unlikely to make any new signings before the winter window closes for business.

The report claims that Man United will wait until the summer to bring in a new central midfielder, with Neves, in addition to West Ham United's Declan Rice, on the club's shortlist.

First-team players could be on their way out of Old Trafford this month, though, with Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Anthony Martial and Donny van de Beek among those to be linked with exits.
