Sporting Lisbon defender Nuno Mendes is a target for Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City, according to a report.

Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City are reportedly all interested in signing Sporting Lisbon defender Nuno Mendes during this summer's transfer window.

The 18-year-old has been a key player for Sporting during the 2020-21 campaign, making 26 appearances in all competitions, while he is already a senior international for Portugal.

Mendes has more than four years left to run on his current deal, but there is believed to be a €70m (£59.5m) release clause in the agreement.

According to Eurosport, Man City are 'very keen' on the Portuguese, while Man United and Liverpool are also keen to bring him to the Premier League.

The report adds that Real Madrid are admirers of the youngster, who has featured as both a left-back and a left midfielder for Sporting during the current season.

Mendes has made 35 first-team appearances for the Green and Whites since debuting in June 2020.
