Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim confirms his starting XI for Sunday's Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur in North London.

Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has confirmed his starting XI for Sunday's Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur in North London.

Christian Eriksen and Leny Yoro both miss out through illness, while Amad Diallo, Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte, Lisandro Martinez, Toby Collyer, Mason Mount, Luke Shaw and Jonny Evans are all injured.

As a result, it is a youthful bench, including 17-year-old goalscoring sensation Chido Obi, who could potentially make a spectacular debut for the 20-time English champions at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Patrick Dorgu makes his Premier League debut for the Red Devils, while Casemiro makes a rare start in central midfield.

As for Tottenham, their side is boosted by the returns of Guglielmo Vicario and James Maddison from injury.

There is also a spot in the final third of the field for on-loan Bayern Munich attacker Mathys Tel, who came close to joining Man United in the latter stages of the January transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur: Vicario; Porro, Danso, Davies, Spence; Bergvall, Bentancur, Maddison; Kulusevski, Tel, Son
Subs: Kinsky, Udogie, Gray, Bissouma, Sarr, Moore, Odobert, Johnson, Scarlett

Manchester United: Onana; Mazraoui, Maguire, De Ligt; Dalot, Casemiro, Fernandes, Dorgu; Garnacho, Hojlund, Zirkzee
Subs: Harrison, Amass, Fredricson, Heaven, Lindelof, J Fletcher, Kone, Moorhouse, Obi
