Jeremy Toulalan not surprised by Anthony Martial impact at Manchester United

AS Monaco captain Jeremy Toulalan has stated that he is impressed with the form Anthony Martial has showed since joining Manchester United.

The 19-year-old striker has scored four goals in six appearances after signing for the Red Devils from the French side last month for £36m.

When asked if he was surprised by Martial's impact at Old Trafford, Toulalan told PA: "No, it is not a surprise for me.

"Anthony has got a lot of qualities. He is a good man and he will have a lot of success in Manchester.

"For Anthony, to be honest, it was difficult to refuse an offer like this. I am happy for him, he plays well at Manchester United."

Martial scored 15 goals in 70 appearances for Monaco after joining them from Lyon in 2013.
