David Moyes to keep Nemanja Vidic as Manchester United captain

Manchester United manager David Moyes says that there is "no change" with regards to Nemanja Vidic's captaincy, despite the defender agreeing to join Inter Milan.

Manchester United manager David Moyes has insisted that Nemanja Vidic will see out the rest of the season as captain.

Reports emerged this week claiming that Wayne Rooney could replace the defender before the end of the campaign due to Vidic's impending exit.

The Serbian has agreed to join Inter Milan in the summer after previously announcing that the current campaign would be his last in a United shirt.

Despite reports in the media, Moyes said in a press conference today that there was "no change" around the captaincy.

United are currently seventh in the Premier League table.
