Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho praises Swansea City ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash between the two teams.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has paid tribute to Swansea City ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash between the two teams at Old Trafford.

United recorded a 4-0 win over Swansea in the reverse match in Wales earlier this season, but will welcome a team that has improved since Carlos Carvalhal took control.

Mourinho is under no illusions as to the task facing his side this weekend as the Red Devils look to record their 21st Premier League victory of the 2017-18 campaign.

"We are going to face a team that is very well organised, especially by the defensive point of view," Mourinho told reporters. "They defend not just with a lot of people, but they are really well organised and with a clear idea of their defensive movements.

"They are dangerous on the counter-attack with fast people and they are dangerous in set pieces because they have a minimum of four big, strong players in the aerial football. They are a difficult team."

United are currently second in the Premier League table on 65 points, while Swansea sit 14th - three points clear of the relegation zone.
