England manager Gareth Southgate is reportedly planning to drop Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford from his next England squad.
Next week, the Three Lions boss will select the players that he wants to feature in friendly internationals against Switzerland and Ivory Coast.
However, according to ESPN, Rashford is unlikely to play any part in that double-header having fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford.
Since recovering from the shoulder injury that delayed the start of his season, the 24-year-old has scored five goals from 15 starts and 10 substitute appearances.
The attacker has failed to net in his last seven outings in all competitions, seemingly enough for Southgate to give the nod to other players.
Rashford has not represented his country since Euro 2020, his last outing coming as a late substitute during the final against Italy.
Speculation persists that Rashford is currently entertaining the idea of leaving Old Trafford during one of the upcoming transfer windows.
