Man United cut Liverpool ticket allocation

Manchester United have cut Liverpool's ticket allocation for the upcoming Premier League match at Old Trafford by nearly 1,000.

Liverpool will now take 2,100 fans to Manchester on February 10, according to the Manchester Evening News.

"This was considered necessary to allow for additional stewarding and segregation plans," said a club spokesman.

The Merseysiders have cut United's away allocation for their last two trips to Anfield.
