Adnan Januzaj: 'I'll play in any position for Louis van Gaal'

Adnan Januzaj insists that he can play in any position in an attempt to force his way into regular first-team action for Manchester United.

Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj has revealed that he will play in any position that Louis van Gaal wants him to in a bid for regular first-team action.

The Belgian midfielder is largely being overlooked in the Dutchman's current plans as Van Gaal is employing a 3-5-2 formation which does not use orthodox wingers.

However, in an attempt to lock down a more prominent role in the United squad, the 20-year-old has insisted that he can be used anywhere.

"My game is all about trying to make things happen," Januzaj told the club's official website.

"We had the diamond at Cambridge and I played as a left midfielder. I feel comfortable there as well. I think I can play well there without a problem.

"My favourite position is as a winger or a number 10. There are a lot of players here and I can play in different roles – it is just a case of taking any opportunities."

Januzaj, who has only made eight starts this season, recently revealed his frustration with the new playing system, admitting that he is struggling to fit into any of Van Gaal's plans.
