Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Manchester United could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Bournemouth.

Manchester United will be without defender Victor Lindelof when they welcome Bournemouth to Old Trafford for a Premier League contest on Saturday afternoon.

Lindelof was taken off at half time in United's 2-1 win over Chelsea on Wednesday, and Erik ten Hag has since confirmed that the Swede is not fit to play against the Cherries due to an unspecified injury.

Casemiro (hamstring), Lisandro Martinez (foot), Tyrell Malacia and Christian Eriksen (both knee) all remain sidelined with injuries, and Jadon Sancho (disciplinary) is still unavailable for selection, while Mason Mount has missed the last four games with a calf problem and remains a doubt despite returning to light training.

Marcus Rashford, who was dropped to the bench against Chelsea, missed training on Friday due to illness and has emerged as a doubt, but Amad Diallo has returned to first-team training this week following a lengthy spell out with a knee problem, and he could feature in the matchday squad for the first time this season on Saturday.

Raphael Varane is also in contention to return after missing the midweek win over Chelsea with a "sore back", while Jonny Evans made his comeback as a substitute versus the Blues after recovering from a muscle issue; Both Varane and Evans will be hoping to force his way back into the starting lineup, but the duo face competition from Luke Shaw to start in central defence alongside November's Premier League Player of the Month Harry Maguire.

Scott McTominay scored his fifth and sixth goals of the season in the midweek victory against Chelsea, and the midfielder is poised to start in the engine room once again alongside either Sofyan Amrabat or Kobbie Mainoo, who was an unused substitute versus the Blues.

The potential absence of Rashford will likely see Antony and Alejandro Garnacho retain their places on the flanks, while Bruno Fernandes, who had a penalty saved by Robert Sanchez in midweek, is set to continue in the number 10 role behind Rasmus Hojlund, who is still searching for his first Premier League goal despite making 11 top-flight appearances this term.

Manchester United possible starting lineup: Onana; Dalot, Maguire, Shaw, Reguilon; McTominay, Mainoo; Antony, Fernandes, Garnacho; Hojlund
