Manchester City plan Dani Alves swoop

Manchester City are reportedly preparing a bid for Barcelona defender Dani Alves.

Blues boss Roberto Mancini is thought to be keen on boosting his squad following their Premier League title win.

City now plan to lure Alves to the Etihad Stadium in a cash-plus-player deal with Aleksandar Kolarov, according to talkSPORT.

Alves joined Barca from Sevilla in 2008 for around £23m.
