Manchester City have confirmed that Maicon will leave the club this summer.
The Brazilian defender, 33, is not part of the squad that is currently on tour in South Africa.
The full-back joined City from Inter Milan in the summer of 2012 for a fee of £3m.
Maicon made 13 appearances in all competitions for the club during the last campaign.
