Kyle Walker set for new Man City contract?

Manchester City full-back Kyle Walker is reportedly on the verge of signing a two-year contract extension at the Etihad Stadium.

The 29-year-old has won five major honours during his two seasons with City since joining in a £45m transfer from Tottenham Hotspur.

Walker still has three years to run on the deal he penned in 2017, but the Citizens are said to be keen to tie him down beyond then.

The Manchester Evening News suggests that the England international is happy to stay on and terms could be agreed as early as next week.

Should he put pen to paper, Walker will become the fifth player to sign a contract lasting at least five more years with the champions, along with Aymeric Laporte, Ederson, Bernardo Silva and Phil Foden.
