De Bruyne to seek City exit due to club's European ban?

Manchester City's two-season European suspension could reportedly lead to Kevin De Bruyne considering his future at the Etihad Stadium.

The reigning Premier League champions have been banned from European competition for the next two seasons having committed offences relating to UEFA's club licensing and Financial Fair Play regulations.

City have already confirmed that they will appeal the decision, although it remains to be seen whether they are able to overturn the suspension.

According to The Sun, should the club be absent from the Champions League for the next two years then De Bruyne will consider his future.

The Belgium international has again been in excellent form for Pep Guardiola's side this season, scoring seven times and registering 18 assists in 31 appearances in all competitions.

The 28-year-old, as it stands, has a contract in Manchester until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
