Bayern Munich are reportedly set to drop their interest in Bayer Leverkusen's Kai Havertz to focus on a move for Manchester City's Leroy Sane during this summer's transfer window.
Sane continues to be linked with a move to the Allianz Arena, with the Germany international's contract at the Etihad Stadium due to expire in June 2021.
Bayern have also been strongly linked with Havertz, but according to Bild, the Bundesliga champions will focus on signing the City attacker over the Leverkusen youngster.
Sane was thought to be a leading target for Bayern in last summer's transfer window, but a serious knee injury prevented the 24-year-old from leaving Pep Guardiola's side.
The attacker has not appeared for City since the Community Shield, although he is allegedly in line to play a part as the English champions prepare to return to Premier League action against Arsenal on June 17.
Bayern secured their eighth successive Bundesliga title with a 1-0 win over Werder Bremen on Tuesday.
