Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has insisted that he is not worried about the form of striker Alvaro Negredo.
The Spain international is without a goal in his previous eight appearances - his longest barren spell since joining the club - but the Chilean backs his forward to fire on all cylinders again.
"I'm not worried about Alvaro," he told reporters. "I know him very well, I'm sure he will continue playing and scoring as he always does."
The 27-year-old has struck 26 times in all competitions for the Sky Blues so far this term.
City, who sit fourth in the Premier League table, six points adrift of leaders Chelsea with three games in hand, host bottom-placed Fulham at the Etihad on Saturday.
