Pep Guardiola: 'Nobody can doubt Joe Hart quality'

Pep Guardiola insists that "nobody can doubt" Joe Hart's goalkeeping credentials despite the England international's imminent departure from Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola has claimed that "nobody can doubt" Joe Hart's goalkeeping credentials despite the England international's imminent departure from Manchester City.

The 31-year-old, back at the Etihad Stadium following underwhelming loan spells at Torino and West Ham United, is third-choice behind Ederson and Claudio Bravo.

Guardiola has already confirmed that he will help Hart find a new club but went on to praise his "quality" and impressive track record over the past decade.

"Joe is our player. I know it is not easy for him, [but] we will try and find a solution," the Spaniard is quoted by BBC Sport as saying.

"Despite the decision nobody can doubt Joe's quality as a goalkeeper or what he has done in the last 10 to 12 years."

Hart played the second half of Man City's 1-0 pre-season defeat by Borussia Dortmund in Chicago.
