A report claims that Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has been left unhappy at the way he has been treated by manager Pep Guardiola.

Sergio Aguero is reportedly hurt at the way Pep Guardiola has handled his imminent Manchester City departure.

The Citizens announced in March that their all-time leading goalscorer will leave the club at the end of this season.

After a decade with the club, Aguero played his final Premier League game for City on Sunday and scored twice in the 5-0 win against Everton.

Saluting Aguero at full time, an emotional Guardiola described the prolific striker as "a special person for all of us".

However, The Athletic claims that the pair do not have the best of relationships, with Guardiola making the final call not to offer Aguero a new deal.

The Argentina international has been in and out of the team since his exit was announced, despite supposedly keeping himself fit.

Aguero, who departs the Etihad Stadium having scored 260 goals in 389 appearances in all competitions, is close to joining Barcelona.
