Sergio Aguero stretchered off

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has been stretchered off during the first half of his side's season opener against Southampton.

Aguero was felled by a strong Nathaniel Clyne challenge after less than ten minutes and stayed down for some time.

The Argentina international attempted to play on briefly, but seemed to be badly suffering with a knee injury and was soon carried off to be replaced by Edin Dzeko.
