Manuel Pellegrini hails Manchester City players

Manuel Pellegrini has praised his Manchester City players for the "very good performance" that they produced away at Norwich City this afternoon.

Goals from Sergio Aguero, Kelechi Iheanacho and Kevin De Bruyne secured a 3-0 win for Pellegrini's men, booking their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup in the process.

"It was a very good performance. From the beginning we were very aggressive," the Chilean told BBC Sport.

"One of the merits of this squad is to be involved in all the competitions with the injuries that we have had."

City last lifted the FA Cup in May 2011.
