Roberto Mancini: "I am very pleased"

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini expresses his satisfaction after his side book their place in the last four of this season's FA Cup.

Roberto Mancini has described himself as "very pleased" following his side's 5-0 victory over Barnsley in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup earlier today.

Carlos Tevez netted a hat-trick for the 2011 winners, while Aleksander Kolarov and David Silva also managed to breach the Championship side's net.

After the match, Mancini was quick to praise the clinical instincts that had been displayed by Argentine striker Tevez.

"I am very pleased. We scored very quickly and scored three in the first half, after that it was finished," he told ESPN.

"In this game it is important that both striker score goals but sometimes it is impossible like today for Edin Dzeko. Three goals for Carlos Tevez is great for him."

Prior to the tie, City had lost four of their last five quarter-finals in the competition.
