Owen Hargreaves has been left out of Manchester City's squad for the Champions League.
The midfielder signed a one-year deal with the Blues this week after being released by rivals Manchester United.
The 30-year-old could be included in a revised squad if City reach the last 16 of the competition.
Roberto Mancini's side face Villareal, Napoli and Hargreaves' former club Bayern Munich in their first Champions League campaign.
