Matt Smith had two good chances for the hosts early on, but he was off target with both efforts.

The striker nearly found the net later on in the half, but he couldn't convert after Sam Deering's strike had hit the woodwork.

Izale McLeod was guilty of the worst miss of the match in the second half as he fired wide having rounded the goalkeeper.
