Jan Molby: Mario Balotelli's home debut a "special occasion"

Jan Molby claims that Mario Balotelli's Anfield debut will be a "special occasion" this weekend.

Liverpool legend Jan Molby believes that Mario Balotelli's Anfield debut against Aston Villa on Saturday will be a "special occasion".

Balotelli made a £16m move to the Reds last month, and the Dane is looking forward to seeing the Italian in action.

Molby told Sky Sports News: "He did very well in his first game [against Tottenham Hotspur] and it's going to be a special occasion him playing at Anfield. The boy is capable of doing anything.

"I see the talent like everybody else. How long can we keep him motivated for is obviously the key. I just hope that now he has found his home."

Meanwhile, Daniel Sturridge will reportedly miss three weeks of action with a thigh injury.
