Simon Mignolet: 'Liverpool are ready'

Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet reveals that the Reds are ready for the Merseyside derby against Everton and insists that his side must not be complacent.

Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has revealed that his side is ready for the Merseyside derby with Everton on Saturday evening.

The Belgian international believes that the Reds must not be complacent against the Toffees as they aim to continue their impressive run of results at Goodison Park.

"You want to be in the spotlight. You enjoy it. I am 100% about winning - not clean sheets, You win with the full 18 players - the whole squad - and that does not change," the 26-year-old told Sky Sports News.

"We'll make sure we try to do exactly what we have been doing. You can't think too much about what you have been doing but must start again for the next 90 minutes.

"This is Liverpool Football Club. We want to win every single game - it does not matter where you are playing. We want to win."

Brendan Rodgers's side will be looking for all three points in the second Merseyside derby of the season, after Phil Jagielka's strike rescued a point for Everton back in September at Anfield.
