Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris says that his side have no fear ahead of their crunch meeting with Liverpool on Sunday.

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has said that his side have no fear ahead of their crunch meeting with Liverpool on Sunday.

Spurs, who have won just two of their 25 Premier League games against Liverpool at Anfield, are without a win against the Reds in Merseyside since 2011.

French stopper Lloris has insisted, however, that manager Mauricio Pochettino's gameplan will not change for the latest clash with Jurgen Klopp's team.

"We will never change the way we play, this is the mentality of our manager," the goalkeeper told the Daily Mail. "This is what he tries to teach us every day. To be brave and have no fear of the opponent, even if Liverpool is an aggressive team too.

"They are very competitive away and at home too, and we know it's going to be a tough place. We always play the way we want, the way the gaffer wants. We don't really adapt the system against the opponent. We try to get control of the ball, get control of the game and try to put the intensity.

"That's why teamwork is very important, everyone knows what he has to do on the pitch defensively, offensively, and then when you add the talent with the right spirit you can make great things, like in the game of Wednesday."

Spurs come into the game off the back of a 2-0 win over Manchester United, while Liverpool defeated Huddersfield Town 3-0 in West Yorkshire.
