Liverpool team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Sparta Prague

With one foot already in the Europa League quarter-finals, Liverpool will be looking to finish the job when they welcome Sparta Prague to Anfield for the second leg of their last-16 tie on Thursday night.

Jurgen Klopp's side cruised to 5-1 first-leg triumph over their Czech-based counterparts last week, courtesy of goals from Darwin Nunez (2), Luis Diaz, Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister.

The latter of whom was also on the scoresheet in Liverpool's 1-1 draw with Premier League title rivals Manchester City on Sunday, a result that leaves them level on points with new leaders Arsenal, who sit at the summit on goal difference.

Ibrahima Konate

Ibrahima Konate missed Sunday's draw with Man City after picked up a hamstring problem in last week's first leg against Sparta Prague. The centre-back is unlikely to be involved in the second leg on Thursday, but he has a "good chance" of making his comeback in the FA Cup versus Manchester United next Sunday, according to Klopp.

Ryan Gravenberch

Ryan Gravenberch was forced off with an ankle injury in the EFL Cup final just over three weeks ago and it remains to seen when the midfielder could return to first-team action.

Following a 10-month layoff with a hip injury, Thiago Alcantara sustained a muscle problem during his comeback appearance against Arsenal on February 4, and it remains to be seen whether the midfielder will return before the campaign comes to a close.
