Robbie Fowler: 'Pressure is on Liverpool'

Former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler believes that the "pressure is on" his old side as they host Ludogorets Razgrad in the Champions League this evening.

The Reds return to Europe's elite competition for the first time in five years at Anfield, and after their 1-0 reverse to Aston Villa on Saturday, Fowler thinks that the team will be expected to bounce back strongly.

"Liverpool have only once failed to get out the group stages, but all the pressure is on Liverpool tonight," he told ITV Sport.

"They got beat at the weekend, and they need to start this game very well and calm everyone down. It could be tough tonight."
