Cameron relieved at Butcher decision

Inverness Caledonian Thistle chairman Kenny Cameron has admitted he is relieved that Terry Butcher will remain as his team's manager.

The 54-year-old turned down the offer to become the new manager of Barnsley after holding talks with the Championship club this week.

"When Barnsley made their approach we felt that out of courtesy we should allow Terry the opportunity to meet with them," BBC Sport quotes Cameron as saying.

"But it is a huge relief that he has opted to stay."

Sean O'Driscoll also rejected the chance to take charge of Barnsley this week.
