Former England boss Sven-Goran Eriksson is reportedly open to the idea of managing Hartlepool United.

Former England boss Sven-Goran Eriksson has refused to rule out a move to League One outfit Hartlepool United.

Micky Barron is currently in charge of the North-East club on a temporary basis, but it is understood that club chiefs are keen to secure a permanent manager within the next week.

Reports have suggested that Eriksson responded by saying, "we'll see what happens", when questioned on the vacant managerial post.

Eriksson has previously helmed Notts County and Leicester City.
