Slask Worclaw 3-5 Hannover 96

Hannover got the best of an eight-goal thriller tonight as they ran out 5-3 winners over Slask Worclaw in the first leg of their Europa League qualifier at Stadion Miejski in Poland.

Hannover raced into a two-goal lead with goals from Leon Andreasen and Jan Schlaudraff giving the German side the advantage within 25 minutes. However, the Poles pulled one back through Tomasz Jodlowiec before half-time.

After the break Sylwester Patejuk reduced the deficit before Przemyslaw Kazmierczak made it 3-3 just after the hour mark.

Hannover struck with two late goals as Andreasen claimed his second before Manuel Schmiedebach wrapped the game up with five minutes remaining.
